ABAKALIKI – In continuation of his two-day visit to Ebonyi State, President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a meeting with Ohanaézè Ndígbo and other leaders of the South-East in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The meeting is holding at the New Exco Chambers, Government House, Abakaliki.
Prof George Obiozor, President-General of Ohanaézèled other members of the apex socio-cultural group to the meeting which is also being attended by Governor David Umahi, who is the Chairman of South-East Governors Forum.
Some of the issues Ohanaézè is expected to table about the region to Buhari are the release of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu from detention.
Other issues expected to be discussed include president of South-East extraction in 2023 and security situation in the region. (TheNation)
