Nigeria’s President-Elect, Muhammadu Buhari, has been announced as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People for the Year 2015.

In an entry written by Aryn Baker, the magazine’s Africa Bureau Chief, Buhari is “demonstrating the inclusivity necessary to lead a nation riven by ethnic and religious tensions”.
On March 28th 2015, Buhari won Nigeria’s Presidential elections, becoming the first man to defeat an incumbent through a free, fair and credible democratic process.
