Buhari sworn in as President of Nigeria

Muhammadu Buhari has today at exactly 11:00am been sworn in as the 7th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Buhari has officially taken over from the former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Eagle Square, Abuja. Buhari was born 17 December 1942. He is a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army who was Head of State of Nigeria from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’état.
