Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former president of Nigeria , Dr Goodluck Jonathan has expressed delight to have joined other world leaders and distinguished personalities to share thoughts on the imperative of people-oriented governance, political stability, and inclusive development in our nations towards establishing a culture of global peace and harmony.”
Sundiata Post recalls that Jonathan was among the world leaders at the International Leadership Conference in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Jonathan who disclosed his joy in a statement via his Facebook page also shared some of his pictures while the conference was on.
The former President’s statement reads:
“At the International Leadership Conference in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, focusing on Peace, Democracy, and Development,” he captioned the photos.
“I am pleased to have joined other world leaders and distinguished personalities to share thoughts on the imperative of people-oriented governance, political stability, and inclusive development in our nations towards establishing a culture of global peace and harmony.”
Jonathan had yesterday, shortly after his arrival at Cambodia thanked the Secretary of State, H.E. Chum Sounry who led the Cambodian government delegation, Dr. Charles Yang, Chair UPF International, H.E. Folakemi Akinleye, Nigerian ambassador to Phillipines with concurrent accreditation to Cambodia, Amb. Nasiru Aminu in Ethiopia, Amb. Oma Djeba in Thailand as well as officials from Nigerian embassies in Addis Ababa and Thailand for the amazing courtesies. Adding that he is looking forward for an engaging sessions at the Democracy and Leadership Summit and a successful July 23, 2023 Cambodian elections.
The first statement reads:
“I arrived in Phnom Penh today ahead of Cambodia’s parliamentary elections and a scheduled International Leadership and Democracy Summit to a warm a reception from Cambodian authorities, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and Nigerian Embassy officials.
I thank Secretary of State, H.E. Chum Sounry who led the Cambodian government delegation, Dr. Charles Yang, Chair UPF International, H.E.
