AWKA – The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor, has commended Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra for his giant strides of developments in his first 100 days in office.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Abuchi Onwumelu in Awka on Thursday, Ezeokafor commended Obiano’s achievements in the security, agriculture, health and education sectors.
“The governor has proved to the people that he has the impetus, the desire and courage to make Anambra the cynosure of all eyes,” he said.
He, however, urged the governor to sustain his zero tolerance for crime and corruption.
The cleric also urged Obiano to pay more attention to programmes that would create employment opportunities for the teeming youths. (NAN)
