AKUN (Sundiata Post) -: The Catholic Bishop of Lafia Diocese, Dr David Ajang, has urged the new Aren Akun, Dr James Angbazo to lead his people and others with the fear of God.
This, he said would promote unity, peace and development in his domain and the state at large.
Ajang made the call on Thursday when he paid Angbazo a courtesy visit in Akun Development Area of Nasarawa state.
Ajan was represented by Dr Lawrence Soja-Anyembugu, the Parish Priest of St Kizito Nasarawa.
” I am here to congratulate you on your emergence as the new Aren Akun.
” Your emergency did not come to us as a surprise due to your track records in the area of peace promotion among others.
” I want to call on you to provide all inclusive leadership and lead your people with the fear of God,” he said.
Ajang assured the traditional ruler of prayers and effective synergy to promote peace in his domain and its environs.
He wished the new Aren Akun well.
Responding, Angbazo appreciated the Bishop for identifying with him at his joyful moment and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
The second class traditional ruler assured of his readiness to operate an open door policy at all times.
He also restated his commitment to promote peace in his domain and its environs for the overall development of the state.( NAN)
