Makurdi – A director of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Moses Tule, has donated assorted books and journals to the Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi.
This is contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the Information Officer of the university, Mr Tser Vanger, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi.
Tule, who is the Director of Monetary Policy, said the gesture was part of his contribution to enhance the university’s capacity in meeting its mandate of teaching, learning and research.
Represented by Prof. Terfa Ortese, Tule assured the university that he would continue to monitor developments in the institution in order to ascertain additional areas of need for intervention.
The statement also quoted the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Msugh Kembe, as commending Tule for making the donation.

Kembe also appealed to indigenes of the state to contribute to the development of the university and the education sector at large. (NAN)
