ABUJA – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Thursday in Abuja announced new dates for the bi-monthly Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting, saying it would hold on Sept. 18, 2014 and Sept. 19, 2014.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen on by CBN’s Director of Corporate Communications, Mr Ibrahim Mu’azu.
The meeting was earlier slated Sept. 22, 2014 and Sept. 23, 2014. [eap_ad_1] “We wish to inform all our stakeholders that the 240th Meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) earlier scheduled to hold on September 22 and 23, 2014, is now to hold on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014.
“Accordingly, all critical stakeholders are to take note of the change in dates and adjust their calendar.
“Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria wishes to apologise for the inconveniences that may be caused by the change of date,” it stated. (NAN)
