Contrary to widespread reports that some of the abducted Chibok girls have been released, it has been revealed that the school girls sighted in Maimalari barracks today (Tuesday) were not freshly released by Boko Haram as being speculated.
Defence sources said that those girls sighted in Maimalari were not from Sambisa forest. [eap_ad_1] The Director Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said that “The buses that drove into the barracks were conveying other individuals.”
Similarly, the Borno State Government confirmed that the girls were heading to new schools secured from them in Kaduna with full military escort.
