After exposing to the world how INEC officials manipulated and rigged the Edo 2024 governorship election in favour of the APC, former minister of Aviation and one time Corp Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osita Chidoka, announced his decision to resign from the PDP. He explained that he has decided to fight the rigging machine being put in place by the APC against the 2027 general elections as a non-partisan citizen.
Chidoka, through his NGO, gave a detailed graphic analysis on Channels Television on Friday (today), how some INEC officials who were named, systematically compromised the BVAS and also added underserved votes to the APC in Egor, Ikpoba Okha, Akoko Edo and Oredo local government areas.
He stated that if the judiciary allows the Edo election to stand as announced by INEC, all opposition parties should forget the 2027 general elections. He stated that INEC has clearly demonstrated in the Edo election that the BVAS can be compromised and double result sheets printed for each ward.
In order to pursue his noble course and not to be accused of being biased, Chidoka chose to resign from partisan politics. The APC is well known for propaganda and blackmailing those who tell truth to power. To avoid this and to be able to expose the rigging patterns the APC is systematically building, Osita has decided to resign from partisan politics.
