Beijing- China on Saturday unveiled a document on deepening medical and health system reform in 2015, mapping out measures to improve public hospitals and the medical insurance system.
According to the document issued by the Chinese General Office of the State Council, public hospitals should not rely on medicine sales to supplement their income.

“Public hospitals should establish a reasonable drug pricing system and routine recruitment and salary policies,” said the document.
It said social medical care should be encouraged through improved policies and strengthened supervision.
The document also urged reforms at the grassroots-level and nurturing of more capable rural doctors. (Xinhua/NAN)
