Compliance Institute, Nigeria (CIN) has appointed Victor Oni as its new substantive registrar. A statement issued by the institute said Oni has an enviable track record and experience with the compliance industry spanning 13 years.
He was one of the pioneer staff of Sterling Bank Plc., where he worked in various positions, becoming Group Head, Compliance and acted as the chief compliance officer of the bank (2018/2019) before exiting in 2020 after more than 20 years service.
He brings to bear on his new assignment his knowledge, wide contacts and experience of anti-money laundering, combating terrorist financing and proliferation financing, all of which will assist in charting a new trajectory for CIN.
CIN is the umbrella body for all compliance practitioners.
