Mr Emmanuel Ojeniyi, the state Commandant of the corps, made the commendation while speaking to journalists in Minna.
“The government of Niger state is one of the state governments in Nigeria that take the issue of security of lives and property serious.

“The governor invites us to meetings regularly to discuss security issues affecting the state and find a way of tackling them,’’ he said.
Ojeniyi said the measure has resulted to reducing crime to the barest minimum by security agencies in the state.
He, however, warned oil pipeline vandals in the state to desist from the negative act of sabotaging the country’s economy or face the wrath of the law.
The commandant pledged that the corps would do everything possible to rid the state of pipeline vandals as crude oil remained the major source of revenue. (NAN)
