Lafia – Pastor Gbenga Ayodele of the Living Faith Church in Lafia, Nasarawa State, has commended Nigerians for serving God even in difficult situation.
Ayodele made this known in his sermon titled “Engaging the wonders of Faith’’ in Lafia on Sunday.
He said he was full of joy for Nigerians who praised God even when they were in serious crisis, and described them as “possessive God lovers’’.
Ayodele explained that it was not uncommon for believers to abandon their God when solutions to their problems were not found.
He said that those who often relented in their praise to God enjoy mysterious blessings.
He cautioned Nigerians not to be in haste to forfeit their faith in God or stop praising him when in difficult situations.
According to him, it is their persistent praise worship that will secure them the solutions they desire.
“Some are living in complaints but some others even when God has not visited, keep praising God. God will only manifest in the place where he is been exalted.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
“The only thing that attracts God to your life is praise, not just praise, but heartfelt praise,’’ he said.
Citing the story of Paul and Silas, who persistently praised God despite their challenges, Ayodele said those who had not enjoyed blessings through praises might not have praised God enough.
“If you have not seen God in your life, it is because you have not praised God enough and genuinely. It is because all you are doing is lip service,’’ he said.
He urged believers to see praise worship as a very important aspect of their religious life that attracts supernatural favours from God.
“When you dance with all your might, God makes strange judgments on your behalf. We need God because it is only God that can change our situation.’’ (NAN)
