Ikole(Ekiti)- A cleric, Pastor Olusola Adewumi, has urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for the President–elect, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in order to enable him succeed.
Adewumi made the appeal on Sunday at Ikole- Ekiti, while delivering his sermon at the Christ Apostolic Miracle Church.
“Nigerians should pray for retired Maj.- Gen. Muhammadu Buhari for wisdom and knowledge that will enable him to lead us right and fulfill the good promises he made to Nigerians.
“It is through prayers that God will choose competent and God-fearing people that will work with him for the realisation of the good plan he has for the country.“

According to him, the expectations on the incoming government are high and sacrifice, perseverance and patience are required from every patriotic Nigerians for the government to succeed.
He stressed the need for contributions from all and sundry towards repositioning the country and assisting government’s efforts toward the provision of basic amenities.
Adewumi also appealed to politicians in Ekiti to resolve their political differences to enable the state move forward.
He decried the crises rocking the state, and called on the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and All Progressives Congress(APC) to jointly find lasting solutions to the crises.
Adewumi also advised the youths to resist being used as agents of destruction by some unscrupulous politicians.(NAN)
