Kaduna (Kaduna State)- Pastor Yohana Buru of Christ Intercessory Fellowship, Sabon Tasha in Kaduna State, has urged youths in the area to shun vices that may lead to violence in next general elections.
This is contained in a statement he gave to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna on Sunday.
The statement advised youths to shun ethno-religious and political differences that may lead to violence.
It said forgetting religious ethnic and political differences and living in harmony would promote development in the country.
The statement urged NGOs, civil society organisattions, community based and human rights organisations to sensitise Nigerians on need for peaceful coexistence.

It said Nigerians should be sensitised on the need to have a peaceful elections.
“There is need to educate youth leaders on the dangers and consequences of election violence in order to discourage them to from engaging in it’’, it said.
It advised citizens against selling their voter cards and also appealed to traditional and royal fathers to sensitise citizens on the importance of electing credible candidates. (NAN)
