LAGOS – Jide Abidoye, a former National Coach of Nigeria Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA), on Wednesday urged the newly elected board to groom budding talents that would take the sport to greater heights.
Abidoye told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that it was necessary to provide such talents the veritable platform that would enable them display their skills.

“My candid advice is the election has come and it has gone, and we have the new executives on ground now.
“One thing now is to put everything into action.
“The constitution must be reviewed properly and then any amendment that is going to be like a human face that is going to bring the unity we need to develop and for us to go to another level.
“To make sure that Nigeria is back into the fore front of Africa baseball with grassroots development.
“Administratively be well organised than what we have been seeing before.
“Championship year in year out, the training of the coaches of the coaches is very important.’’
