Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has distributed reluef materials to people affected by communal crisis between Karinjo and Wurkum communities in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The officials of NEMA Yola Operations office, in collaboration with the Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (TSEMA), distributed the relief materials to the aforementioned affected communities.
Sundiata Post recalls that the distribution of the relief materials followed the approval of the Director General of the agency, Mustapha Habib Ahmed. The DG was represented by Mr. Cyprian Agwunwa (ACAO).

Mr. Cyprian Agwunwa (ACAO), who represented the Director General, stated that the relief materials are a manifestation of the federal government’s support through NEMA, aimed at alleviating and mitigating the sufferings of the affected persons. He further encouraged both communities to embrace peace and harmony.
The Executive Chairman of Karim Lamido, Mr. Bitrus Dan Jos, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government on behalf of the beneficiaries for their assistance and assured the team of the proper utilization of the items by the beneficiaries.
