MINNA – The Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) says conducive business climate is a major factor to attract investors.
Mrs Saratu Umar, the NIPC Executive Secretary, said this at the Niger State Inaugural Investment Climate Summit in Minna on Monday.
“A lot of investors are coming into the country and they will invest in those states with enabling conducive business environment,” she said. [eap_ad_1] Umar said that the commission had facilitated the establishment of the Niger State One Stop Investment Centre to reduce the cost and time of doing business in the state.
“The commission has played a key role in bringing about the establishment of the state’s one stop investment centre.
“Niger is taking giant steps to ensure that its business environment is conducive and we will continue to support the state,” she said.
Umar advised the state government to harness its agricultural potential in view of its vast expanse of arable land.
