Igarra (Edo) – Consensus candidates on Saturday emerged at the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) ward congresses held in the Edo North Senatorial District of Edo, the News Agency of Nigerian (NAN) reports.
The delegates emerged through consensus in the six local governments made up of Edo North Senatorial District.
NAN also reports that the delegates will be the ones to vote at the party’s primary holding later this month.
Mr John Omoje, the Vice Chairman of Ward 2 told NAN that members agreed on consensus in Akoko Edo wards I, 2, 6, and 7.
“We unanimously agreed and selected our delegates so there was no need for proper election,’’ he said. (NAN)
