ABUJA – The coronavirus pandemic continues a steady rise in Nigeria as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announcing four new cases late evening of Tuesday.
According to the NCDC on its Twitter handle, three new cases were confirmed in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja while one case happened in Lagos.
Earlier on Tuesday the agency had confirmed four new cases, thus making a total of eight new cases on Tuesday as at 8pm.
That brought the total number of confirmed cases to Nigeria to 139. It was 131 on Monday (yesterday).
On a happy note NCDC also announced that nine infected persons have been treated and discharged.
