ABUJA – The coronavirus pandemic continued its spread in Nigeria with 16 new confirmed cases on Tuesday as announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
First the time since the end of first case was announced in Nigeria in February the disease has reached Katsina with one confirmed case on Tuesday according to NCDC.
One more death was recorded on Tuesday to bring the total number of deaths associated with COVID-19 to six.
On a happy note, the number of patients discharged increased from 25 to 44. This number includes the seven patients from Abuja earlier announced by the Minister of FCT, Muhammad Bello.
