Abuja (Sundiata Post) – In line with the Federal Government’s directive to limit gatherings as one of the measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19, the Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT/Cybercrime, Senator Yakubu Oseni has called for suspension of free ICT/cybercrime training for civil servants across the country.
The lawmaker in a statement revealed that the suspension of all training activities is indefinite as the country continue to combat the pandemic.
Recall that for some weeks now, the free ICT/cybercrime training for all civil servants had commenced in Kogi State which would be rounded up on 21st of March, 2020 just as States like Kano, Kaduna, Anambra, Cross River, and Enugu were ready to commence theirs next week before the suspension.
The committee handling the training would be prompted to notify everyone once it is appropriate to resume.
