Kuje (FCT) – The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Mr Abdullahi Sabo, has appealed to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to fix some bad roads and deteriorating infrastructures in the area for the development of council.
Sabo made the appeal during a tour by the FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani, on inspection of some ongoing and abandoned projects by FCTA in Kuje Area Council on Monday.
The Chairman appealed to the Minister to take the necessary steps to effect repairs on some dilapidated roads and other infrastructures in the council.

“As the Food Basket of FCT, we are therefore appealing to the Minister and FCTA, to provide good roads and fix deteriorating infrastructures to enable us feed the entire people of FCT,” he appealed.
He particularly described the condition of the roads in the satellite towns in FCT as embarrassing as they do not befit a territory created to be a model for the country.
Reacting, the FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani, assured the people of Kuje that plans are under way by the Minister of FCT, to ensure that all abandoned projects are completed by the contractors.
