Ikeja – An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday ordered that six men, whom the police accused of attempting to steal three million Naira from a filling station, be remanded in Kirikiri Prisons,pending legal advice.
The police charged Obinna Ofoma, 25; Ndukwe Junior, 22; Williams Okon, 22; Young Oluchukwu, 28; Charles Mark, 20 and Daniel Freedom, 20, all employees of Skepter Filling Station with two counts of conspiracy and robbery.
Chief Magistrate J.A. Adegun, gave the order adjourned the case until Dec. 12 for the advice
The Police prosecutor, ASP Clifford Ogu had earlier alleged the accused conspired and attempted to rob the filling station.
Ogu alleged that the accused and others (at large), committed the offence on Oct. 28 at 9 p. m. at km 21 Lagos – Badagry Express way, Ojo, Lagos.
The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 297 (2) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 297 prescribes 21 years jail term for robbery, while Section 411 stipulates two years for conspiracy.
