The Presiding Judge, Mr Albert Maga, sentenced Kaduna after pleading guilty.
Maga ordered the convict to pay N30,000 to the complainant, Mr Okafor Ikechi.
He also ordered him to pay N2,000 as option of fine.
Earlier, the prosecutor, PC Friday Adaji, told the court that Ikechi lodged a complaint against the convict on March 29 at the Aso Pada Police Station, Mararaba.
He said that on Jan. 3, the complainant entrusted his Mercedes Truck to Kaduna, who was his friend, on hire purchase with the agreement to pay N30,000 per week.
He said the accused used the truck for two weeks and failed to remit N60,000 to the complainant.
The prosecutor said that any time the complainant asked for the money, the convict would always promise to give him but never did.(NAN)
