Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria’s COVID-19 death toll on Sunday hit 1,002 as the Centre for Disease Control reported 322 new confirmed cases.
The report released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease control via its twitter handle has it that the new cases were recorded from 18 states as Lagos, Abuja and FCT came first, second and third with 130, 36 and 25 infections respectively.
Others are; Edo-17; Bayelsa, Ogun and Oyo-14 cases each; Anambra-13; Kaduna-12; Ondo-11; Abia-10; Osun-6; Plateau and Kwara-5 each; Kano-4; Ebonyi-3; Sokoto-2 and Borno-1 infection.
The health agency further informed that the total confirmed COVID-19 cases have risen to 52,227 out of which 38,945 have been discharged.
