COVID-19 deaths hit 469 •587 new cases confirmed as total infections near 18,000 in Nigeria

ABUJA (SundiataPost) – Deaths resulting from coronavirus continue to increase in Nigeria at an alarming rate.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) 469 Nigerians have died from COVID-19 complications as at Wednesday, an increase of 14 deaths within 24 hours over the 455 figure as at Tuesday.

Also, 587 new cases were confirmed on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 17,735.

Out of this however, 5,967 patients have been discharged.
