Abuja (Sundiata Post) – As at midnight of Saturday, Nigeria has treated and discharged a total of 61,884 COVID-19 patients since the index case in February 27, 2020, this is also as it has recorded 246 fresh cases of the novel virus, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
The report released via it’s twitter handle further revealed that the total confirmed cases in the country has risen to 66,228 and that the death toll is now 1,166.
The health agency informed that the fresh cases were recorded from 11 states as follows:
