Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The coal city, Enugu state led the COVID-19 table with 51 infections followed by Gombe state with 40 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 195 new cases on Monday.
According to the report released by the healthy agency via its twitter handle, the new cases were recorded from 11 states including the FCT as follows:

Lagos-39
Plateau-23
FCT-15
Rivers-12
Kaduna-8
Ondo-3
Bauchi-2
Edo-1
Ogun-1
The report further revealed that the total confirmed cases have risen to 57,437 while total COVID-19 patients treated and discharged from various isolation and treatment centres are now 48,674.
The NCDC noted that the management of the novel virus has not been without casualties, adding that 1,100 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications.
