Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Gombe State led the COVID-19 table on Saturday with 54 cases as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 162 fresh infections in Nigeria.
According to the report released via NCDC’s twitter handle, other states which recorded infections including FCT are as follows:

The health agency stated that the newly reported cases brought total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 62,853 and total discharged cases now 58,675.
The report added that 1,144 lives had been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was recorded in February 27 2020.
