Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Lagos State, the epicentre of COVID-19 infection raked in 37 cases as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed 113 fresh cases on Saturday in Nigeria.
Other states where patients reported tested positive for the novel vieus are:
Kaduna-16; Ogun and Plateau-11 each;
Taraba-8; Rivers-7; FCT-6; Enugu and Niger-4 each; Edo-3; Delta and Imo-2 each; Benue and Kano-1 each.
According to the report released via NCDC twitter handle, total confirmed cases have risen now to 61,307 with 56,557 treated and discharged since index case was recorded on 27th February 2020.
The NCDC further reported that 1,123 lives have been lost to the novel virud in Nigeria.
