COVID-19: Lagos accounts for 52.2% of 132 confirmed cases recorded on Monday in Nigeriainfe – NCDC

Abuja (Sundiata Post) –  The latest released by the says that Lagos State, the epicentre of COVID-19 infection  accounted for 52.2percent of 136 new recorded on Monday Nigeria.

The agency’s released via handle stated that Lagos State alone recorded 71 infections while Rivers and Plateau states came second and third with 23 and 12 respectively.

Others are;

Adamawa and Oyo-6 each; -5;
Abia and FCT-3 each; Katsina and Kwara-2 each while , and Edo recorded 1 infection each.

The added that the newly brought total the country 58,460 while total discharged patients are now 49,895.

The said that the management of the novel virus has not been without casualties as 1,111 deaths have been recorded since the index case was recorded the country on February 27, 2020.
