Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Lagos State – Nigeria’s most populous state and the epicentre of COVID-19 recorded a whopping 712 infections as the Centre for Disease Control confirmed 1,354 new cases on Tuesday.
In its report released via twitter handle, the NCDC said that the new cases were recorded from 21 states including the FCT as follows:

The health agency further stated that the total confirmed cases have risen to 92,705 out of which 76,396 patients have been discharged since the index case was reported in February 27, 2020.
It added that a total of 1,319 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications from various isolation facilities in Nigeria.
