Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday confirmed 118 new cases of COVID-19, adding that total confirmed cases has now risen to 59,583.
This was contained in the report released by the NCDC via it’s twitter handle account late Tuesday night.
The report further said that a total of 51,308 patients have been discharged since the index case was recorded in February 27, 2020.
Also , the health agency noted with dismay that 1,113 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications.
The NCDC said the 118 new cases were recorded from the following underlisted states namely;
Lagos-41
Rivers-19
Osun-17
Nasarawa-13
Kaduna-5
Anambra-5
Edo-3
Ogun-3
Kwara-3
Ondo-3
Katsina-2
Niger-2
Plateau-1
Akwa Ibom-1
