COVID-19: NCDC confirms 119 new cases, Lagos records 77

Abuja (Sundiata be Post) –  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said it confirmed 119 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria on with Lagos State, the epicentre of the pandemic accounting for 77 Infections.

The report released via it’s twitter handle said the other five states that recorded infections are:

FCT-26
Plateau-9
Edo-4
Oyo-2
Nasarawa-1

The latest confirmation has brought the total confirmed cases in Nigeria to 62,111 out of which 57,571 patients have been discharged.

It added that 1,132 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported on 27th February 2020.
