Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday said that it has confirmed 354 new cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total confirmed cases to 45,244.
The health agency reported that the 354 new infections were recorded in 17 out of the 36 states of the federation and the FCT.
The NCDC which disclosed this on Thursday via its official twitter handle said that 32,430 persons who earlier tested positive have been treated and discharged after they tested negative for the novel virus, adding that 930 patients have died of COVID-19 related complications since the index case wa reported in the country.
