Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria recorded a whopping 1,145 new cases of #COVID-19 on Thursday, the highest in a single day since the index case was reported on 27 February 2020, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said.
Releasing the report via it’s twitter handle account late last night, the NCDC said the new infections were recorded from 24 out of 36 states of the federation including FCT as follows:

The health agency added that the total confirmed cases have risen to 76, 207 out of which 67,110 have been treated and discharged while the rate of fatalities stood at 1,201.
