COVID-19: Nigeria records 1,444 fresh cases, total Now 110,387 – NCDC

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Nigeria yesterday recorded 1,444 fresh cases of COVID- 19, bringing the total confirmed cases to 110,387, the Centre for Disease Control has confirmed.

Releasing the report via it’s twitter handle late Sunday night, the health agency said that the new cases were reported from the underlisted states:

Akwa Ibom-52
Nasarawa-32
Osun-29
Ogun-28
Imo-16
Oyo-16
Edo-15
Kano-14
Rivers-10
Ekiti-7
Borno-6

Benue-4
Yobe-4
Kebbi-3
Anambra-2

The report further noted that a total of 89,317 patients have been treated and discharged by the NCDC while 1,435 lives have been lost to the COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27.
