COVID-19: Nigeria’s total confirmed cases exceed 100,000 – NCDC

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The confirmed cases of in Nigeria exceeded 100,000 with the additional 1,024 fresh infections recorded on Sunday, the has said.

The released by the health agency via it’s account has it that Lagos State alone recorded 653 fresh infections in the day under while the other 16 states (including the ) where cases were reported accounted for the remaining 371 cases as follows:

According to the , the confirmed cases have risen to 100,087 out of which
80,030 patients have been treated and various isolation facilities in Nigeria.

The NCDC further added that 1,358 lives had been lost to related complications since the index case reported in February 2020 in the country.
