Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria have risen to 53,477 as Nigeria Centre for Disease Control recorded 160 fresh cases on Friday.
The report released by the agency via it’s twitter handle revealed that a total of 12, 460 patients are still in different isolation centres across the country as 41,017 patients have been treated and discharged from the total confirmed cases.
The NCDC’s report also highlighted that 1,011 deaths have been recorded since the pandemic was first reported in Nigeria in February, 2020.
The 160 fresh cases were reported from fifteen states including the FCT as follows:
