Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Plateau and Kaduna states have edged out Lagos from its leading position in terms of COVID-19 patients with 108 and 49 infections respectively as 298 new cases were confirmed on Sunday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
According to the report released via its twitter handle, Lagos came third with 47 cases, followed by Ogun -18, Osun-17 and FCT 15.
Others are as follows: Ondo-14; Edo-8; Oyo-6; Akwa Ibom an Cross River-4 each; Borno-3; Ekiti-2; Bauchi, Kano and Rivers-1 each.while The health agency noted that a total of 49,068 cases have been confirmed out of which 36,497 patients have been treated and discharged discharged while 975 deaths have so far been recorded.
