Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Plateau state on Tuesday led the COVID-19 infection table with 50 patients as new confirmed cases dropped to 252, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said.
The health agency which released the report via it’s twitter handle said these new confirmed cases bring total confirmed cases to 52,800 out of which 39,964 have been treated and discharged from across different isolation centres in Nigeria.
Regrettably, the NCDC added that 1,007 lives have been lost in the country for COVID-19 related complications since the index case was recorded in February 2020.
The NCDC’s report released further revealed that the 252 cases recorded from 18 States including FCT are as follows:
