COVID-19: South Africa, Algeria, Egypt worst hit in Africa as death toll hits 608

, Algeria, and Egypt have continued to top the list of countries with the highest cases.
has 1,934 cases and 18 , Algeria has 1,666 cases with 235 , while Egypt has 1560 confirmed cases with 103 .
WHO added that Africa’s most populous nation, has 288 cases and 7 deaths.
The countries with the lowest confirmed cases are South Sudan and , which have only three cases each.

“COVID-19 cases in Africa rise to 11,900 – with 1,586 recoveries & 608 deaths ,” WHO tweeted.
