Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The total discharged cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria have risen to 112,557 even as 1,588 fresh infections were recorded on Saturday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported.
In the report released by the agency via it’s twitter page, it confirmed that the total confirmed cases from across the various isolation facilities in Nigeria stood at 139,242.
The NCDC said that the fresh infections were recorded from twenty states including the Federal Capital Territory as follows:

The health agency regrettably announced that a total of 1,647 lived have been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case was reported in February 27, 2020 in Nigeria and gave the breakdown of total confirmed cases as follows:
