Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said that 160 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Nigeria.
According to the report, the new cases were recorded from 13 states as follows:
The health agency which disclosed this via it’s twitter handle further informed that the new cases brought the total confirmed figure to 56,177 out of which 44,088 cases have been discharged.
It noted that management of the pandemic has not been without casualties as 1,078 lives have been lost to the novel virus that was first reported in the country on February 27, 2020.
