Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has released COVID-19 update for Sunday saying that 304 new infections were recorded in 14 states and FCT.
With this, the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country is now 43,841 out of which 20,308 have been discharged.
However, the infection has claimed 888 lives, NCDC said.
Lagos recorded 81 of the 304 cases, followed by FCT with 39, Abia with 31 and Kaduna 24.
The rest are: “Rivers-23, Plateau-16, Cross River-13, Ebonyi-12, Ondo-12, Ekiti-11, Edo-11, Benue-10, Nasarawa-10, Ogun-6, Gombe-5”
The total confirmed cases so far in Nigeria now stands at 43,841 of which 20,308 have been discharged.
