Dangote Refinery this Tuesday morning, September 3, 2024 rolled out its first set of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, from its 650,000 bpd facility.
This is according to a news flash by Channels Television, coming on the heels of a report by SundiataPost and some other authoritative news outlets that the long-awaited petrol from Dangote Refinery was expected to come on stream this week.
The $20bn refinery, built by billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote, began operations in January. It initially produced diesel and aviation fuel.
