Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Kidnapped school girls from Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, in Yobe State, have been returned to the town by Boko Haram insurgents with five said to have been dead.

According to reports, a resident in Dapchi community confirmed the development to newsmen.
The resident informed that the insurgents returned the girls in the early hours of Wednesday few minutes after soldiers were withdrawn from the town.
“We are happy. There is jubilation in Dapchi now as the girls are back,” the resident said.
Sundiata Post recalls that the Dapchi school girls from Government Girls Science Technical College (GGSTC), Dapchi, in Yobe State was kidnapped on February 19, by Boko Haram.
The Bornu State governor Shettimma has ordered the closure all private schools in the state.
