ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Davido, has expressed his decision to steer clear of cheating scandals in the future.
In a recent interview with ‘Breakfast Club,’ shared on X on Tuesday, the singer reflected on his previous infidelities. He acknowledged the intense public scrutiny surrounding his past actions, especially after marrying Chioma in 2024.
Davido revealed that he has come to realise the complications that infidelity brings. “I said I’m not cheating again. I no dey cheat again. You no hear wetin I talk? I said I don’t want any wahala. Cheating brings a lot of problems. I have five kids with four women,” he said.
The singer also discussed the impact of relationships within his family, noting that even with considerable wealth, challenges persist. “My uncle, who’s a governor, has two wives. Another of my uncles said all his wives live with him and get along, but despite the money, there’s still wahala. I’m not cheating again. I can’t have another wife,” he added.
Davido’s comments signal his resolve to leave behind his past controversies and focus on a peaceful, drama-free future.
